An Act to Fine Rapscallions
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,
SEC. 1. EFFECTIVENESS
This Act shall be effective upon completion of the constitutionally required process.
SEC. 2. SEVERABILITY
Should any part of this Act be struck down or declared unenforceable, then that part of the Act shall be considered severed from this Act, and the rest shall remain in full force.
SEC. 3. RICO CHARGE FINE OPTION
(a) Chapter 6, Section 25 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be amended to have a $600 citation option in addition to its currently prescribed jail time value.
(b) Consistent with existing statutory and case law, a person may not be arrested and fined for a violation of Chapter 6, Section 25; they may only be arrested or fined.
