IN THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF FIRESTONE

AN ACT
to the Liberation and Reclamation of the State of Colorado
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,
PREAMBLE
To formally assert the sovereignty and territorial claim of the State of Firestone over the State of Colorado, currently held by the hostile United States of America (nUSA).
§1. FINDINGS
(a) The Congress finds that the State of Colorado has held significant historical, cultural, and symbolic importance to the State of Firestone since its founding.
(b) The Congress further finds that Colorado was long recognized as belonging to the heritage and identity of Firestone.
(c) The Congress additionally finds that laying claim to the State of Colorado is imperative as a war-goal in the current conflict with the United States of America.
§2. CLAIM OF SOVEREIGNTY
(a) The State of Firestone hereby formally claims the State of Colorado as sovereign Firestonian territory.
(b) All official maps, statements, and publications of the State of Firestone may recognize Colorado as claimed territory of the State of Firestone.
§3. COLORADO CITIZENSHIP
(a) Residents of Colorado shall be recognized as provisional citizens of the State of Firestone pending the surrender or peace deal between Firestone and the United States of America.
(b) Nothing in this Act shall be construed as depriving any resident of Colorado of any existing citizenship or nationality.
§4. DIPLOMATIC STATUS
(a) The State of Firestone shall pursue recognition of this claim through all available diplomatic, legislative, and international means.
§4. ENACTMENT
This Legislation shall go into effect upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.
§5. SEVERABILITY
Should any part of this Legislation be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
