Custody Transport System

Firestone seems to be wanting to move forward and offer more in terms of development. An obvious lapse that seems to be prominent between Firestone and other games in the Ro-State space is an obvious lack of being able to actually transport your subjects. The purpose of this suggestion is to hopefully get Development to add a system where yes you can still cuff your subjects with a “tool”, but allow them to be forcefully sat in the back of a car, taken out, brought to a booking area in a station, and proceed with the charges at the computer of the booking station. Optionally, allow them to be brought to DOC and transfer custody respectively.

Overall suggestion would be completely remove the cuff tool and add interactions on people to be able to grab, pin, cuff, but could be difficult to do in swarms of people.

Personally I’m in PDP, we got an entire second building at our station where the lower floor is entirely cells and a booking area, and zero way to essentially use it unless the suspect wants to comply with booking, which is about a 1/10 chance.

been way too long with this system, serious needs a change. the cuffs system is too outdated, we need a standardized processing system like above. hopefully with V4 we get this, since it really puts us at a disadvantage in roleplay.

DOC transfers already exist. They are not commonly utilized due to a lack of CO’s online. The state of FS really doesn’t have a roleplay environment as it did years ago and its more common for shoot → die → respawn and get a gun and the cycle to repeat. A new arrest system, which you described would never be implemented into V2 for several reasons:

  • Devs are lazy, redoing the smallest thing gets them whining so we will never see them agreeing to something like this.

  • The focus is on V4, if this is implemented in V4 is anyone’s guess, but that would also depend on how much Poe wants to spend on getting a system like this scripted. (Though he co-owns or manages a development company(?) so..)
