FFA Transfer Act

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE

(a) This bill may be known as “FFA Transfer Act”.

SECTION 2. EFFECTIVENESS

(a) This Act shall be effective immediately.

SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY

(a) Should any part of this Act be struck down or declared unenforceable, then that part of the Act shall be considered severed from this Act, and the rest shall remain in full force.

SECTION 4. DEFINITIONS

(a) The “Healthcare Act” shall be defined as this.

(b) The “Employment Act” shall be defined as this.

(c) The “Criminal Rehabilitation Act” shall be defined as this.

(d) The “Holidays Act” shall be defined as this.

(e) The “Line of Succession Act” shall be defined as this.

SECTION 5. HEALTHCARE AMENDMENTS

(a) Section 5(b3) of the Healthcare Act currently states:

“Director of the Firestone Fire Academy;”

(b) Section 5(b3) of the Healthcare Act shall be amended to state:

“Chief Training Officer of the Stapleton County Fire Academy;”

(c) Section 5(b6) of the Healthcare Act currently states:

“Director of the Firestone Fire Academy;”

(d) Section 5(b6) of the Healthcare Act shall be amended to state:

“Senior Training Officer of the Stapleton County Fire Academy;”

SECTION 6. EMPLOYMENT AMENDMENTS

(a) Section 6(b)(iii) of the Employment Act shall be amended to state:

“Firestone Department of Public Safety;”

(b) Section 6(b)(viii) of the Employment Act shall be amended to state:

"Firestone Department of Justice.’

(c) Section 6(b)(ix) of the Employment Act shall be nullified.

SECTION 7. REHABILITATION AMENDMENTS

(a) Section 1(b2) of the Criminal Rehabilitation Act shall be amended to state:

“The Board shall furthermore be composed of the Governor, the Department of Public Safety Secretary, the Peace Officer Standards and Training Director,the Chief Training Officer of the Stapleton County Fire Academy, a representative from the Department of Health as appointed by the Secretary of Health (optional), the Department of Public Works Secretary, a person appointed by the Department of Public Works Secretary who shall be required to be an employee of the Department of Public Works at all time while on the board, and any other persons appointed by the Attorney General and confirmed by the Senate through a simple majority vote.”

(b) Section 3(b4) of the Criminal Rehabilitation Act shall be amended to state:

“In order for a participant to complete the Emergency Medical Technician pathway, the participant shall be enrolled into the SCFA for the duration of Phase 1 – with all respective authority, rights, and privileges attached to a Cadet of the SCFA except as restricted by this act. They must go through the required curriculum as provided by the SCFA. The Chief Training Officer of SCFA shall have complete control over the length and content of the classes undergone by the participant. After going through the necessary phases, the participant shall take the final exam which may grant them a certification upon passing. The participant shall have completed Phase 1 if the participant showed a reasonable effort towards passing the SCFA certification exam – even if they did not pass. Assuming the participant passed the final exam, they shall only be issued a certification if their records receive a seal by the Board.”

SECTION 8. HOLIDAY AMENDMENTS

(a) Section 5(iv)(1)(a) of the Holidays Act currently states:

“Firestone Fire Academy”

(b) Section 5(iv)(1)(a) of the Holidays Act shall be amended to state

“Stapleton County Fire Academy”

(b) Section 5(iv)(1)(c) of the Holidays Act shall be created and state:

Training and Doctrine Command

SECTION 9. SUCCESSION AMENDMENTS

(a) Section 1(xvii) of the Line of Succession Act shall be amended to state:

“Administrator of the Firestone Aviation Administration”

(b) Section 1(xviii) of the Line of Succession Act shall nullified.
