What does firestone muni’s need to survive!! give me some ideas; some i may have written but I would like to gauge a public view
like the pds or just munis in general?
Just throwing this out there, more legislative authority or responsible duties (weird way to put it). Unis could be responsible for their own public works to an extent (snow plowing, trash pickup, stuff like that). Obviously, this would upset the balance between the state DPW, but this is the main way I can think of it.

Pass traffic restrictions on 18 wheelers. Like have city laws that restrict 18 wheelers entering roads etc. pass the laws before Congress passes them. Municipal laws should fill in for lapse of state laws. Congress shouldn’t be micromanaging city ordinances when you guys could make laws. The municipal departments waste the opportunity to pass laws because they wait for the county or state to pass it…

This would work, given that the Senate fails the bill to dissolve Municipal councils and legislative authority is passed back to Municipals from the county.
