Law Enforcement Training Enhancement Act

LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING ENHANCEMENT ACT

         Be it enacted by the State of Firestone Congress here assembled,

§ 1. TITLE

    (a) This Act shall be known as, and is to be cited as, the “Law Enforcement Training Enhancement Act”.


§ 2. ENACTMENT

    (a) This Legislation shall go into effect upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.


§ 3. SEVERABILITY

    (a) Should any part of this Act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.


§ 4. DEFINITIONS

    (a) “Live Fire Training” shall be defined as any training that utilizes live ammunition and is likely to cause a decrease in health of a player.

    (b) “Law Enforcement” shall be defined as those employed in departments listed in Section 8(c) of the Authority to Arrest Act of 2022;


§ 5. IMMUNITY

    (a) Any State of Firestone, County, or Municipal law enforcement department officially established by law may conduct live-fire trainings in Stapleton County V2. Employees of the participating department(s) and any assisting civilians shall not be arrested, prosecuted, sued, or disciplined for actions that were conducted during the training, that were against participating employees/civilians, and that were reasonably necessary to simulate a realistic scenario and response.

    (b) Live Fire Training start date/times and end date/times shall be documented by each department. All live fire trainings shall have a marked perimeter line that signifies the training area if there are non-participants in the server being utilized. Departments shall ensure that non-participants are not within the the training area and shall be authorized to remove non-participants from the training area. Departments shall conduct the trainings in a server with less than 5 non-participants and shall make a reasonable effort to have the server closed to access by non-participants. The department shall not conduct a training in an area that is occupied, or could potentially be occupied (such as spawnpoints), by non-participants if they are present in the server, or if the server is not closed to non-participants.

    (c) All players assocaiated with a Live Fire Training must show their name at all times while participating in the live fire training.
