Introduction
After much consideration and observing the need for various changes across our State, myself and scriblelz have decided to declare our candidacy to be the next Governor & Lieutenant Governor respectively. We have adopted a people-first platform that aims to strengthen our government and institutions, uphold the rights of Firestone citizens, revitalize our state, increase activity, and continue to put freedom first in all official decisions. Together, by supporting and voting for T_xom & scriblelz, we can build a government of unity that supports the goals and ambitions of those from all parts of Firestone.

About T_xom
T_xom is an attorney, dinosaur enthusiast, gun rights activist, investigative journalist, business owner, librarian, politician, and lawmaker who is seeking to be your next Governor. He has served as Speaker of the House of Representatives for several months, with five terms of experience in both chambers of Congress, passing meaningful legislation to ensure that our Government operates strongly, effectively, accountably, and in the interest of the people. He has held office as County Executive, Prominence Mayor, and in countless legislatures and executive positions, and currently serves as a PDP Sergeant, protecting and serving his home District.

About scriblelz
Scriblelz was the 35th Governor of the State of Firestone, former two-term Speaker of the House, and a multi-term Senator. He currently serves as the Deputy Mayor of Prominence, having served as both the Mayor and Deputy Mayor at different points since December. He also spends his time running his business, scriblelz Animal & Food CO, one of Firestone’s longest running businesses. Additionally, he serves the City of Redwood as a Patrol Sergeant in the Redwood Police Department.

Executive Policy
Below is the Executive Policy Platform of the T_xom & scriblelz governorship.
Reform of Classification Powers
There is currently an epidemic in Firestone of overclassification. Citizens have a constitutional right to public information, a right that is being violated. Only the most sensitive chats and documents should be classified, those that pose a real risk if leaked. Therefore, we will reform who can classify information and oversee it to ensure they use the power conservatively, allowing all non-sensitive information to be released to the public, upholding a transparent government.
Reform of Applications
Citizens deserve the ability to apply to departments. However, there are currently some departments that post applications quite infrequently. The T_xom administration will put an end to this and create an executive order requiring departments to open their applications more frequently and more publicly, allowing new members to join. Furthermore, we will put an end to vague reasons applicants get for being denied, such as “insufficient answers” or “poor community standing”. We will require departments to give clear, concise, and actionable feedback, allowing candidates to change and improve so they can increase their chances of getting accepted in the future.
Ensure Departments Uphold & Follow the Law
The current administration has let departments run rampant in breaking the law. The T_xom administration will be a people-first administration. We will take action on departments that have become complacent about violating state law. We will also push for our departments to go above and beyond the minimum of following the law, but do more than is required. No more getting FOIA responses at the deadlines, we will instead require departments to respond quickly and concisely, promoting a more transparent and fair government
The Firestone Gazette
The T_xom administration will create the Firestone Gazette, a more useful version of a newsletter. Instead of just holding information about what the governor did last month, the Firestone Gazette will be a tri-branch project and release, giving citizens information about everything Firestone, including important executive actions, new laws, and major court decisions.
Legislative Policy
Below is the Legislative Policy Platform of the T_xom & scriblelz governorship.
New Traffic Act
The current traffic law we use is the Firestone Traffic Revision Act, an outdated, over-amended 2019 law. It worked at the time, but it doesn’t anymore. Many people have tried and failed to create a new traffic law on Trello, but fail no more. The T_xom administration will put effort and resources into creating a viable, well-written, new traffic act that is modernized to this decade and era of Firestone. We will ensure it is put on Trello to make it easier to find amendments and more accessible for everyone.
Reform of Pardons
The past two governors have given out pardons like candy; the T_xom administration will put an end to this. People have gotten pardons just for asking for one despite demonstrating they are a risk to our State and going criminal again a week later. No more will career criminals get pardons or “second chances” that are really a third, fourth and even fifth chance. Pardons will be given out much more conservatively by the T_xom administration, ensuring they are deserved and justified. To help promote this now and in the future, the administration will support, and if necessary, write and sponsor, reasonable legislation to restrict the governor’s pardon abilities.
Judicial Policy
If elected, a T_xom - scriblelz administration intends to continue to uphold the Judicial Selection Program (JSP) as the method of finding, training, mentoring, and nominating judicial candidates. Ensuring integrity in all branches of government, and particularly the Judiciary, is critical. By making sure that judicial selections are made in an apolitical and objective way, based on the merit, ethics, and knowledge of judicial candidates, we can continue to ensure that this integrity is kept and that judges and justices are held to high standards. We intend to work with the Chief Justice and the Courts to ensure that the JSP continues to operate smoothly, and to fulfill any other needs.
Foreign Policy
Foreign policy is a key value of this campaign, and something that past gubernatorial administrations may have neglected in certain respects. Firestone is the most developed Ro-State, having a large and active community, a longstanding Constitution, and inflexible democratic values at standards unmatched in other nations. It is the role of the State of Firestone to assert itself in global relations, to be a leader in initiatives and in diplomacy, and to take an active role in keeping the peace and ensuring the propagation and maintenance of democratic systems of government.
In cooperation with Secretary of State Kyhuls and Community Oversight, we intend to reach out to various active communities not currently recognized by the State of Firestone to gauge their interest in entering into diplomatic relations. We intend on facilitating the creation of embassies and consulates, state visits, joint training exercises, and interstate collaborative programs to further enrich relations with foreign nations and to stimulate activity and engagement within Firestone. It is evident that Firestone has erred in its selection of diplomatic partners in the past, leading to wars or other threats to the state integrity of Firestone. Under the “No New Wars” foreign policy of this administration, we intend to ensure that nations with whom we share relations are civil, democratic, and peaceful, and to work towards positively cultivating these relationships.The State of Firestone must assert itself in foreign missions, such as peacekeeping operations, and stand its ground against all enemies and potential threats, while still taking all possible steps to avoid escalation and armed conflict.
Domestic Policy
With Firestone under new ownership and the #30Days campaign completed to solve inactivity and revive the state, it is clear that continuing and expanding upon measures to increase activity is of utmost importance. There is much that the Governor can do to facilitate this, and a T_xom - scriblelz administration aims to make activity a priority. It is our goal to work with the Department of Commerce and the development team to ensure that businesses that want property can receive it, and that development support remains as quick and seamless as it currently is. We aim to tighten the requirements for monthly activity reporting with the Bureau of Land Management, in order to weed out businesses who consistently submit screenshots that do not show actual shifts or events.
Our administration aims to host numerous planned events throughout the term, working with the county and city governments and with a variety of business types to organize unique events. Whether it’s a range day or car race in Arborfield, a business shift or pool party in Redwood, or a sporting event or competition in Prominence, there is plenty that organizations across the State have to offer in terms of events. The administration aims to be as active as possible in-game, hosting speeches and parties frequently to stimulate non-event activity, similar to what the current administration has been doing.
When it comes to working towards activity, it is important to keep and support the perspectives of both legal civilians and criminals. While it is the role of the government to tackle crime, we must also understand that criminals are a major source of activity for the State, and are essentially the only thing that maintains the dynamic “cops and robbers” element of Firestone. As such, we aim to host events in which everyone can fairly take part, and our administration will make an effort not to exclude any criminals from participation in events or programs. Likewise, it will be a focus of our administration not to solely tackle in-game crimes, but to work towards dismantling the Deepstate of Crimes Against Government Order and Crimes Against Democracy that continues to exist within Firestone and our governments.
Conclusion
In conclusion, myself and scriblelz have a comprehensive platform for how we can best support the citizens of Firestone and continue to strengthen and unite our state. Regardless of how you may feel about either of us in the past, or any past conflicts or grudges, I ask that we step into this new chapter together. We aim to be a gubernatorial administration that works for all citizens of Firestone, new or old, cop or criminal, and ignoring past political affiliations.
