T_xom for House
Greetings, citizens of Firestone. I am running for an eighth term in Congress and I intend to run for a fourth term as Speaker. I believe that our latest term was incredibly productive and involved high levels of activity and cooperation from both chambers of Congress, and I believe that I can provide continued, faithful representation of the peoples’ interests if re-elected.
My Work Last Term
In the past three months, I have written and proposed the following pieces of legislation:
- The Virgin T_xom Omnibus Act, to reduce the bloated structures of devolved governments and to streamline operations;
- The Jack Bauer Act, which set a 24-hour time limit on probable cause from citations and to protect people from frivolous fines;
- The Peace Officer Firearms Access Act, to allow all POST certified individuals to skip the training process in firearms licensure, not just currently employed LEOs;
- The On-Duty Cops Act, to close a loophole that could have allowed business security guards to conduct wrongful detainments;
- The Municipal Downsizing Act – this bill did not pass Congress, but it allowed me to improve and refocus certain elements to produce the Virgin T_xom Omnibus Act;
- The Alternative Identification Presentation Act, which allows civilians different ways of providing their identity on a traffic stop in case of a glitch;
- and A Constitutional Amendment to Give Congress Subpoena Power, which reversed a decision by the Supreme Court to take this longtanding power from impeachment inquiries.
I am proud that nearly all of these proposals have passed. As always, a good chunk of this legislation came from ideas that civilians presented to me in DMs. I am always open to suggestions, and I am open to brainstorming ideas and co-authorng bills that civilians come to me with, which was the case for at least two of these proposals. On top of my proposals listed above, I have edited or worked on countless other bills with members during the recent term.
On top of legislative work, I have also done plenty of outreach work. I hosted two congressional events recently: a meet and greet at the steps of the Capitol where the public could ask questions and present suggestions, followed by a continuation of our Caked Up with Congress series at The Little Cup. Both of these events allowed me to speak with constituents, who provided both positive and constructive feedback on my work this term.
Plans for Next Term
My plans if re-elected to another term include:

Protect Firearms Rights: I plan to propose a bill that adds new CFL application reviewers, and to add at least one additional seat to the FFC. After talking to several FFC members and disgruntled gun license applicants, we have settled on these as solutions to improve processing speed, and a bill will be proposed in the next week or two.

Continue Ensuring Accountability: As started in the current term, I plan to continue with monthly approval polls and frequent meet-and-greet events so that civilians can voice their concerns with Congress. Our ultimate goal should be to remain transparent, which is why I plan to work with the Senate to produce a public monthly report.

Work on Traffic Law: After previous failed attempts to work on a new Traffic Code, I plan to create a working group of members of Congress to begin the development of a new code. This binding code on Trello would be similar to how the Criminal Code currently works, and it would simplify and condense traffic law wherever possible.

Continue Fighting the Deepstate: Myself and my fellow Representatives have been committed to fighting the Deepstate in the recent term. We have abolished the FBI and we have begun to work on resolutions inquiring into FFC inactivity and other Deepstate operations within the government. If re-elected, I will continue fighting and I will never surrender to Deepstate operatives.
